A little of everything

Updates:

I apparently have carpal tunnel. I've been taking high dosages of ibuprofen for about 2 weeks. I could tell that made it a little better - the numbness/tingling in fingers wasn't as frequent, but it was still pretty bad at night. I bought a wrist brace 2 days ago and that helped A LOT. I woke up yesterday morning with no numbness in fingers. Problem is, the wrist brace I bought - for $18 - is uncomfortable. That bump of bone that sticks out of your wrist? Yeah, it has a little red sore spot from the brace. I don't think the brace is rubbing it exactly, it's just...a little painful. I kinda want to just deal with it - $18!!! - but then again, for my health...it might be worth buying a new (different) one. I'm afraid that the medicine won't be enough (I go back in for a check-up on Monday. Hoping I won't need surgery. Surely not; if it's only intermittent, it can't be bad enough for surgery, right?)

Snow! I woke up to a light dusting this morning. I had forgotten that the weather guy on the radio said there was a chance of it! Delightful. :)

My ipod is broke. :( There were some spots of dirt? on it, so I wiped it off with a damp cloth to clean it. I'm assuming that's what caused it? Because it happened after that. The backlight won't come on. It still plays and everything but it's almost impossible to see the screen. The Apple website told me that it's still under warranty, so we're going to try this. Apple won't cover it if it's water-damage -- which I think would be pretty awful of their product if you can't even wipe it off with a DAMP (not wet) cloth!! Their little water indicator in the headphone jack was still silver when I looked, though. Trust me, I stared at that thing for a good 15 minutes under a lamp, turning it at every possible angle! I set up a service request online so now I just bring it in to a local UPS store.

After the UPS store today, I plan to do a little shopping. I like the "chunky sweater with long-sleeved T underneath" look and want to get a set myself. After reading Fab Finds Under $50, I know I really need some basic long-sleeved Ts for layering :) The chunky sweaters I've got an eye on: sweater A - sweater B - sweater C (tho I like my catalog picture better) - sweater D - sweater E. I'll probably like the way only one of those looks, I'm sure. I could also invest in another cardi. For cardis, I like This One (it comes in Tall!) or for something different, This One.

I stayed up wayyy too late last night, talking to lil bro and simultaneously waiting for a call from N. Had a good convo with Matt about Monk and House and funny things.

Well, I set my alarm this morning so I would get up early(ish) and get started before 10. So, I better make good on that!
